We have been playing some of the One Page Rules recently at our local club and particularly like the Grimdark setting with Firefight rules. This is a quick skirmish game following the same rules as a more standard 40K game, but stripped down to allow for smaller teams.
It is fast to play and pretty adaptive. Its not unusual to play a couple of games in one night, both 2 player and 3 player - haven't tried more than that yet! We've also been using it as a test game to see how some of our sci-fi terrain works - particularly the new items yet to be released.
Images below show some of the new Cyber City range of terrain we will be adding shortly when we've finished painting it - currently it is just black - but it should be available soon in 28mm and 15mm. One of the nice things about the future apartment blocks is that they are stackable so you can create a multi-level gaming area. You'll also see some rock/cliff clusters which will also be listed shortly.
